Vice President and Community Reinvestment Act Director, Home Bank
Brandon Kelly currently serves as Vice President, Community Reinvestment Act Director for the Lafayette-based financial institution, Home Bank. In this role, Kelly works throughout Louisiana and Mississippi to enhance community outreach and development efforts, manage the bank’s community reinvestment program and promote banking services and lending to low- and moderate-income families, small businesses and underserved communities. Previously, Brandon served as Business Development Officer at EFCU Financial (formerly E Federal Credit Union) where he created community engagement programs including: Camp $martMoney, an annual financial literacy day camp for teens and Your Finances On Tap, a monthly financial education meet-up for millennials held in a local bar setting.
In the community, Brandon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Louisiana State Support Organization, the Louisiana Council on Economic Education, the Louisiana Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. Brandon also serves on the Bank on Baton Rouge and Bank On Lafayette Steering Committees.
He is a passionate advocate for financial wellness and capability education logging more than 150 hours of financial education training delivery in 2018.
Brandon is a member of Forum 35, Baton Rouge’s leading young professionals organization, where he has served as Vice President of Individual Membership & Vice President of Corporate Membership. He is a 2018 Graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Leadership Program and a 2010 Graduate of the John W. Barton, Sr. Community Leadership Development Fellowship.
He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Jordan United Methodist Church, where he serves as Finance Chair.
Kelly obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University in 2004.
