As the Director of Public Affairs, Na’Tisha Natt manages the statewide marketing and communications activities of the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC).
Since joining the LHC, Na’Tisha has spearheaded efforts to raise awareness about the importance of affordable housing and LHC’s resources that aim to provide decent, safe and energy-efficient housing for working families and individuals, veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities or experiencing homelessness.
Prior to joining the LHC, Na’Tisha served as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Louisiana Small Business Development Center. Throughout her career, Na’Tisha has been actively engaged in regional and statewide economic development activities, as well as stakeholder and legislative relations.
She has served as a board member and advisor for several non-profits and civic organizations including, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Business and Professional Women, American Red Cross - Go Red for Women, and Downtown Economic Alliance. In 2013, Na’Tisha was recognized as one of the Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals in Northeast Louisiana because of her involvement with and commitment to small business and economic development, as well as youth engagement and development.
Na’Tisha co-founded The Brave & Beautiful, Inc., a non-profit originally based in Northeast Louisiana whose mission is to inspire, motivate and empower girls by offering highly interactive life skills workshops lead by business and professional women. Topics often include leadership, college and career planning, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and much more. Since its inception, more than 100 girls have participated in the Brave & Beautiful workshop. Na’Tisha’s goal is to expand the volunteer driven workshop to multiple locations throughout the state and beyond.
Na'Tisha, a native of Monroe, LA, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, holds a Masters of Arts in mass communications and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Southern University and A&M College.
